Through this source I discovered many basic facts and figures about Romania. They provide translations services which helped greatly with translating many of the complicated Romanian words. This site also provided many resources as well as further information regarding customs and cultural aspects involving this complex country. It is here that I discovered their very popular dishes including their famous soups and various desserts. I also discovered a brief background as to where their dishes originate from.
I learned of the major language of Romania through this source. I found out the Latin is mainly spoken throughout Romania and that basically everyone their knows that language. While in the younger generations, English is also known as a very close second language. French, German, Italian, and Spanish are also spoken but very rarely.
The information regarding religion on this website is incredibly helpful and informative. They display each major religion practiced in Romania including Catholicism and Islam. This source also provided much background information on the various religions which was very helpful.
